Abstract
The failure of standard anti-cancer drugs to produce therapeutic effects in cancer patients is one of the major healthcare issues today, causing more than 8 million deaths annually world-wide. For most patients, potentially efficacious treatments exist but methods to accurately predict treatment responses are currently lacking. In this proposal we will meet this challenging need by implementing novel zebrafish methods for prediction of cisplatin efficacy in bladder cancer patients (illustrated in the attached figure).
